UT Queer & Trans Report
Our team is led by LGBTQIA+ students and works for LGBTQIA+ students. This report is an initiative that aims to gauge the perception of campus resources and student experiences by the LGBTQIA+ community. We will utilize the findings to propel the necessary change at UT Austin.
Focus Groups

here! We plan to conduct a variety of focus groups to learn more about the different experiences of LGBTQIA+ members in different communities. We only have about 35 spots available total, so we would appreciate it if you sign up if you are truly wanting to share your experiences. The focus group will consist of about 5 people in each group, lasting from 1 to 1.5 hours. If chosen, you will receive $20 in compensation for your time and sharing your story. We will follow up with you via email to schedule the focus group session for a slot in February. During the focus groups, you will be able to remain anonymous.
Survey
Our survey recieved over 2300 responses! We're incredibly excited to begin analyzing the data and using it to enact positive change for LGBTQIA+ students at UT Austin. We are still looking for focus group participants, so if you didn't get a chance to fill out the survey but wanted to make your voice heard, look at the focus group section above!
